Leopard & Lace

Today is my "Monday" after the three-day weekend...I SO did not want to get up this morning! I'm am seriously the WORST morning person you will ever meet. If I have to wake up before 8:00 a.m. I am not a happy camper...(my poor husband!) Yes, I know people always say I will have to be a morning person when I have kids...Ummm...that's why I don't have kids!!!...I love my sleep THAT much! :)
Yes, I had my husband take this in between classes...I SO need a "real" SLR camera...who wants to donate one? ;)
I love this "Aztec-y" looking necklace I found at Forever 21! My yellow lace shirt is also from Forever 21.
One last thing...One of my senior students bought me this clock over the weekend...I LOVE IT! :) (I'm such a dork!)

Hello J.Crew, I love you.

After surviving the first three weeks of school as the "new" Math teacher...I decided I was in need of some retail therapy! Boy, did I find some good deals! First, I started at the J.Crew outlet, (because I get a 15% off teacher discount) Woo-hoo! I found this darling navy polka dot tee ($12), kelly green scarf ($10), and this burgundy long sleeve shirt($10.)

Then, I made my way over to Rue 21 and found these 3 necklaces that I've been looking for online for weeks! They were $20 for all three! What a bargain!

Who else loves J.Crew?? I was a loyal Ann Taylor girl, since I used to work there...but now I'm starting to love J.Crew more...or maybe equally?

The Chicness of Black & White

Ok, so my all time favorite color combo is definitely black and white...I have always and will always think of it as the pinnacle of classiness! Here's a few of my favorite "pops" of color with my classic black & white pieces...





I love how I can literally make 50 different outfits just by adding different "pops" of color to any black & white piece! Black & White are a timeless combo, that will never go out of style!
