YAY!! Fall is finally here! I'm so excited I get "chilly" when I go outside! This weekend we had a fall party for our church staff and it was so much fun! We drank Apple Cider, ate yummy food, and had great fellowship! It was a great time! When I go to potlucks in the fall, I usually bring my family favorite: Corn Casserole..it's always a hit! I usually end up writing the recipe down for a couple of people every time I make it, so I decided to share my recipe and my outfit from Saturday's shin-dig! :)

Corn Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
1 (15 1/4-ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
1 (14 3/4-ounce) can cream-style corn
1 (8-ounce) package corn muffin mix (recommended: Jiffy)
1 cup sour cream
1/2 stick butter, melted
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large bowl, stir together the 2 cans of corn, corn muffin mix, sour cream, and melted butter. Pour into a greased 9 by 13-inch casserole dish. Bake for 50 minutes, or until golden brown. Let stand for at least 5 minutes and then serve warm.
Now, for my outfit I'm wearing today! I am in love with burgundy for the fall, I wore it Saturday, Sunday, and today! :)

I am loving this outfit! Perfect and classic for the fall. I have noticed you don't wear pants, how come?
ReplyDeleteLove these animal prints, especially the burgundy with zebra print. Very, very nice!
ReplyDeleteOh you say happy fall and I am saying happy winter here in Utah. Snow is forecast for the mountains and rain here in the city with wind and more wind. But then I read your bio and discovered you are in FL. So yes that makes sense. So HAPPY FALL Y'ALL to you! I love your modesty ideals and appreciate that so much. I too am modest; partly due to my age and my faith, as well. THANK YOU for linking with my new Blog Hop. That is great to have you!
ReplyDeleteYou look really lovely, the leopard print scarf is gorgeous, xoxo.
ReplyDeleteI so love that second look! The animal print is perfect!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up!
Carolyn
Two very classic looks!
ReplyDeleteI NEED a burgundy skirt. For reals. I haven't been to an outlet mall in way too long but that just got bumped up on my priority list. =)
